Canon Powershot S5 IS

The Canon Powershot S5 IS is an enthusiast bridge camera from 2007 that blends point-and-shoot accessibility with DSLR-like handling. It comes equipped with an 8.0-megapixel CCD sensor, a versatile 12x optical zoom lens, and Canon's optical image stabilization. A distinctive highlight is its rotating flip-out LCD screen, making high-angle and low-angle framing effortless. It runs on four standard AA batteries and includes full manual controls alongside everyday automatic modes.

This model is ideal for hobbyists, photography students learning manual settings, and anyone who enjoys vintage mid-2000s digital color rendition with generous zoom reach. It performs best outdoors in natural daylight, for park outings, and for architectural details. However, it is fairly bulky for everyday pocket carry and is not built for dim indoor lighting without popping up the flash.

All cameras are meticulously tested 3 times before being put up for sale. A 4th and final testing will be done prior to shipping out.
