Ricoh CX1

A beloved cult favorite from 2009, the Ricoh CX1 is an enthusiast compact camera built around a 9.29-megapixel CMOS sensor and a flexible 7.1x wide-to-tele zoom lens (28-200mm equivalent). It was among the first compacts to feature dynamic range expansion and a dedicated high-contrast black-and-white mode, encased in Ricoh's understated metal shell.

It appeals strongly to street photographers, collectors, and monochrome enthusiasts looking for tactile controls and moody filmic aesthetics. Macro shooting is exceptionally close, and daytime street scenes exhibit distinct character and grain. Note that the early CMOS sensor is not designed for low-light nightscapes, and the vintage menu system takes a moment to learn.

All cameras are meticulously tested 3 times before being put up for sale. A 4th and final testing will be done prior to shipping out.
